First of all this is a beautiful pair of sunglasses.
One clarification ; I see a lot of webstores that state the lense color is "Pink Gradient Brown" or something along those lines. Which is dead wrong! It's Pink-Brown Gradient.
This is a huge difference.
Ray Ban sells two kinds of 'Gradient' lenses.
Single color gradient and dual color gradient. The latter of course is a combination of two colors where one color gradually fades into the other.
THIS one is a SINGLE color gradient, which means the lense color is a pink-brown mix that is darkest in the top half of the lense and the bottom half of the lense is the same color but way lighter and much more transparent.
I received my pair today and I must say the brown-pink color is very nice.
The "gradient' however is almost nonexistent; the top half is beautifully colored but the bottom half almost has no color at all. It's a rather abrupt change, there is not much of a gradient effect t.b.h.
The frame color is beautiful (i.m.o.). As described it is "Bronze Copper" and it is shiny. Which is very nice. And it's a very warm color, fitting the Pink-Brown lense color and the Havana brow bar and temple tips nicely. All in all a very well put together color combination.
The brow bar not only give these sunglasses that subtly more luxurious look over the standard aviator it also protects the lenses from getting greasy. It really works very well indeed.
All in all a winner!
