FENDI is the story of four generations of women who built a Roman fashion empire on creativity, craftsmanship and innovation. Established in 1925 by Adele and Edoardo Fendi, the family fur and leather workshop has continually developed and evolved, ultimately becoming the embodiment of refined Italian elegance thanks to the five Fendi sisters and the 54 years collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld. Now at the helm of the empire Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Kim Jones who joined in 2020 as Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear, together with Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Artistic Director of Jewelry, have been spreading an air of modernity and tradition into the brand that in 2000 has been acquired by the LVMH Group, becoming in 2001 its majority shareholder.
